Trinity Holy Week

Holy Week begins April 14th with Palm Sunday / Passion Sunday. Service begins at 10:00 AM when we gather in the Parish Hall for the blessing of the Palms, followed by a procession into our neighborhood reminding us of Jesus' triumphal enry into Jerusalem. After we enter the church singing the triumphand All Glory Laud, and Honor, we take our seats and listen to the meaningful Choir Anthem Hosanna, Come Save Us, the modd quickly changes as we enter into Christ's passion by participating in the Passion Gospel reading led by our Confirmands.  After the service we will gather in the Parish Hall to enjoy traditional Hot Cross Buns.

Palm Sunday ends with BCP Evening Prayer at 6:00 PM.

Each eveng of Holy Week will include a BCP Evening Prayer service at 6:00 PM.

On Maundy Thursday, April 18th we will participate in one of the most intense and beautiful expressions of our faith. The Maundy Thursday service at 7:30 PM will take us to Jesus' last night with his disciples when he washed their feet and gave them the sacrement of the bread and wine. The liturgy will end with the altar being stripped reminding us of Christ being stripped of  his clothes before his trial.

On Good Friday, April 19th there will be three opportunities to gather and reflect on the story of Jesus' death and meditate on the meaning of the cross: Ecumenical Stations of the Cross in town, beginning at noon: Traditional Good Friday Service at Trinity at 3:00 PM; Traditional Good Friday Service at Trinity, 7:30 PM

In Easter Sunday, April 21st, the celebration will begin with a Said Eucharist at 8:00 AM and continue with a choral Euchraist at 10:00 AM. We will gather for an Easter Brunch following the 10:00 AM service.
